The difference between a manga you have to actively go into a store and deliberately purchase yourself, and an Anime being broadcast on public television.

(Yes there's other ways to view both manga an anime, but those are the mediums they're produced for.)

Who's the virgin incel who labelled this image, who doesn't have the imagination to think of anything to use every one of those for?

This one really made me think, perhaps not in the way intended.

Okay, maybe that's not so strange, but set beside a urinal where I'd be fully comfortable unzipping my pants, pulling my favourite bits out, and emptying my bladder shoulder to shoulder with other wang-havers... I start to question why the difference seems enormous to me.

Meh... Netflix is far from the first to leave fans with mixed feelings from a live-action adaptation (I frankly liked a couple of them quite a bit!)

My favourite novel series as a young adult was the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind.

The live TV adaptation... Adapted away many of the core things I thought made the book series awesome. I didn't get farther than 2-3 episodes.

Catholic Church: "Of course they are. We've been waging war using a book for centuries. (Also medieval torture devices, but mostly the book)."
